A call to all Ugandans to pray for a peaceful Elections and Political Transition

*A Call to Prayer for Uganda’s Peaceful Elections and transition every monday

*Fellow Ugandans,As we stand at the threshold of a new chapter in our nation’s history, I urge you to join me in a collective cry to heaven every Monday of the week. Our beloved country, blessed with abundant resources and rich soil, is crying out for divine intervention. The current state of affairs – marked by corruption, unemployment, questionable acts of injustice to citizens, and erosion of democratic principles – demands our attention and action.

As an aspiring leader, I am committed to guiding our nation towards a brighter future. However, I firmly believe that true change begins with a spiritual awakening. That’s why I’m calling on all Ugandans to observe every Monday as a day of prayer for our country’s transition.

*Let’s Pray For: *1. Peaceful elections, free from bloodshed and violence. 2. A leader after God’s heart, who fears God and serves with integrity. 3. Wisdom and courage for our citizens to participate in the electoral process. 4. Protection from evil forces that seek to destabilize our nation through blood shed. 5. God’s mercy and forgiveness for our collective sins.

*How to Observe Monday Prayers: *1. Gather in prayer cells or small groups. 2. Humble yourself in individual prayer. You can observe a fast or anyway that’s suitable for you.God listens to a short honest prayer as well. 3. Party headquarters, academic institutions, and workplaces can hold short prayer sessions. 4. Clergy can lead their congregations in prayer and encourage their flock to observe/participate every Mondays. 5. Families can observe a moment of prayer after every meal on a daily basis besides a perpetual Monday prayer.

*Let’s Unite in Prayer. *As we embark on this journey of prayer, let’s remember that our actions are not limited to Mondays alone. We can: 1. Encourage one another to vote and participate in the electoral process. 2. Promote peace and calm during this electoral cycle. 3. Pray for God’s mercy and healing for our land. *Scriptural Foundation: *II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV serves as our guiding principle: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

“Let us humble ourselves, pray, and seek God’s face. Together, we can shape a brighter future for Uganda.

For God and my country,

Malinga Gerald. Aspiring Presidential Candidate of Uganda, 2026-2031

NOTE: Let’s share this with as many people as possible.Someone could get conviction to observe a Monday as a day to pray for the country. May God bless you.
